To get you in the mood for some flirty summer fun, Padres-style, I sat down with ABC’s notorious bad boy bachelors David Good and Jesse Kovacs to talk lessons in love from reality TV, dream girls, their best tips for picking up chicks at the stadium, and what’s new in their professional and personal lives.

DiscoverSD : Are you still single? Do you like being single in summer?

David Good: I am still single yes. I am just enjoying the freedoms that come along with being single right now. I travel so much that it would be very difficult to be seeing someone currently.

Jesse Kovacs: I’m not single. Her name is Summer though. I love summer time.

DiscoverSD : What are the top three lessons you’ve learned about love and dating from your experiences on reality TV?

Dave: 1. What goes around comes around. 2. Being brutally honest from the start is the best way to start a relationship. 3. Woman are crazier than I originally thought.

Jesse: It doesn't matter where you're looking for love, it can jump out and find you in an auto body shop, hotel lobby, Vegas pool, or on a TV show. You have to cut out the false hustle. And what I mean is, leave the 'fake you' at home, and let the other person see the real you, so no one’s time is wasted. Have an open mind. If someone doesn't fit the bill on paper i.e. blond hair, tall and beautiful, it doesn't mean they can’t end up being your best friend. Look at me, I went on the show for a girl and found Dave, and he's definitely not blond and beautiful.

Why is it so difficult to find a woman with great qualities?

I thought about this whole-heartedly because I wanted to give a great answer not just to my friend, who concurs his friends’ grapple with the same dilemma constantly but to my readers.

And trust me I know the answer! But before we get to that, I want you to read in his own words, what this man wants in a woman. This isn’t me telling you what men are looking for. This is a MAN telling you what men are looking for.

Now, if you’re anything like me unless Paul Walker tags me in a note, I could careless about what any other man wants. Men will get what I give them but if you’re not like me, (but just as smart obviously because you’re reading this blog) you might be curious to the validity of my friend’s desires.
